About Yacht Watchman
Yacht Watchman was founded with the purpose of
answering the questions which many boaters have; "Is my boat safe, secure, and what
are the conditions of the on-board systems?"
Initially Yacht Watchman met this need with personal visits from experienced staff who inspected each vessel and made a report to the owner via PDA. This process, while satisfactory, was not a real time solution. YWI developed an on-board, automated monitor which allowed 24 hour 7 day a week real time surveillance with immediate notification to a central office monitoring staff., who Yacht Watchman would contact the owner or his representative of any malfunctions or security situations. This system, although a very satisfactory solution, had to be wired to every monitored system:, pumps, high water, security, smoke, batteries, shore power, etc. We are proud to announce the Yacht Sentinel YS-3. A wireless and independent system which utilizes either GSM or Satellite communications to connect with the Yacht Watchman data center for real time, anywhere coverage of your boat's systems, security and location. Yacht Watchman International, Inc., is led by Chairman, Jim Knoska, and President, Ray Emmons. YWI’s leadership team brings years of experience from the corporate, marine, logistics, and data management world to the company. The company’s Chief Information Officer, Scott Bean, and Sales and Marketing Consultant, Bill Nesbitt, are working to keep YWI in the forefront of technology and customer response.
